About

My name is Felicity Evans. I am a web enthusiast, a Christian, a wife, a daughter, and a sister to six.

I fell into web design through the trapdoor. Whilst studying architecture, which I never completed, I discovered the joys of fiddling with HTML. From there, the stage was set.

Whilst architecture to web design might not seem the most natural progression, I think what appealed me about the former was what drew me to the latter. Architecture is a multi-disciplined field. That's why it takes seven years in Australia to graduate from the degree. It's a bit of art, a bit of construction, a bit of maths, some engineering, some inspiration, and a whole lot of hard work!

Web design much the same, although it involves less work. You take a given material - although admittedly a less tangible one - and you apply rules of art, construction (css), engineering (that's the techy bit), usability and purpose... and it produces a result.
